So, probably over a month a go I was with the rest of the Monkey pod in Spain, having a lovely Easter holiday soaking up so sunshine. Spring was definitely starting there, the blossoms were beginning to bloom, budding flowers start to push up through the soil and find the light and grow. The Monkey pod has now been back at home in Norway for about 3 weeks, today is 17th May, Norwegian Constitution Day, it has been a lovely extended weekend. Whilst having some time I noticed that Spring is only just happening here, the tulips are just begging to sprout and the blossom is in full bloom.
I find it funny that Spring is only just here in May and I forget that we are only just coming out of darkness and beginning to get towards the time of the midnight sun, my favourite time of the year. Currently it is still light at 10 pm and it is getting light at 3:30 am, and life is beginning to bloom.
Flowers and blooms are so beautiful, the natural colours, the reds, pinks and yellows and shapes that nature has forged is amazing, as an engineer, I love looking at flowers and leaves, loving the shape and contours, e.g. spirals, that helps a rain drop find its way to the soil to feed the plant.
So, I have been trying to start my blog and get going, but abit like Spring coming, I am finding it hard to get going, so I started faffing with my iPhoto library, to the end that I broke it and I had to re build it. The only problem with this re build, is the library contained over 100,000 photos and was 400 Gb in size. I have been trying to sort it for weeks, because I want to get contain in this website, but I have also been finding the broken iPhoto library as a good excuse not to get going……
The iPhoto library is now re generaterd and sorted, so I can push on and get going and about my projects.
